This one was taken on Christmas morning, with the sun rising. There was snow everywhere, and it looked amazing with the sun shining on it. We had a beautiful clear blue sky. I took the photo from our front door, so you see a bit of our driveway.
This photo was taken one day last week after a heavy snow. We found some kids snow shovels at the shops, and decided to get them out of the house, working. You can kinda see the snowflakes still falling. Sometimes they are really little, and sometimes it is amazing how large the flakes are.
This was the last day of school, which was cancelled because of the snow. The kids were all disappointed because they were going to have parties at school, but they enjoyed getting out with their friends. The girl in this photo is Rachel, who is our new neighbour from Australia. She is 9, and Grace and Angie love playing with her.

Beautiful photos of the snow! It just looks so attractive! I can hardly believe that the driveway and taken-from-the-kitchen-window photos are of the same areas we saw during our visit. It looks as if you are living in a completely different place! It seems as if the seasonal changes around you are much more visually changing than what we have in Australia! No wonder there are so many different celebrations for each season.
