Our friend came to visit with her three week old daughter. It was lovely tobe able to give her cuddles. The girls were keen to hold her, and Gracie was even telling me how it should be done.
"owie" - any cut or scratch "go potty" - something you continue to do even when you are five, ... or even more? "..come with" in various forms. they leave off the pronoun at the end "scootch" - move over "cell phone" instead of mobile "dead" battery instead of flat "cookie" for a biscuit "biscuit" = scone "playdate" when you have a friend over "under-nighter" when the playdate includes dinner, but not actually staying overnight "junior/senior/freshman/sophmore" years 9-12 at school, and I think they use it again for "college" = uni including accomodation, because nearly everyone moves out for college
"fortnight" is not used and they have no idea what you mean
